We´ve already released TR were going to be well known in Spain.
last month we phone to Finland for talking with Aki (drums)
and in spite of the solar storm made very difficult hearing his voice,
we got chatting about the band with him. Go on reading to enter in The Rasmus world.

- LOKA: Does The Rasmus have a special meaning?
- AKI: Well, Now Rasmus has taken his own meaning,
but at first it was only the mix of Trash and Mosh. Trash+Mosh= Rasmus

- LOKA: What´s your secret for being together for 9 years?
- AKI: first of all we are friends.
That´s very important because we´ve already made 5 CDs...
Maybe sometimes we fight, but we are very good friens,
10 minutes later we don´t remember anything.

- LOKA: Could you tell me what´s your secret for composing?
- AKI: It´s very easy, Lauri writesa melody and some lyrics,
he brings them to the local and among everyone, we give substance to the songs.

- LOKA: What do you think is your main advantage against the other bands?
- AKI: That we go on enjoying with music like the first day.
That´s precisely what "First day of my life" talks about,
it talks about the work done as enthusiastically as the first time.
We´ve played more than 1000 gigs and we are always so be in because we are in music
because of vocation.

- LOKA: Please, choose two songs you like from Dead Letters, and told what are they about.
- AKI: My favourite song is "In my life", it tolds about the history of TR seen from outside,
about the decisions we had to take and how did them effect in us. For example,
Lauri left school so as have more time for the band. That´s a very important decision,
and he doesn´t regret.
An other song I like is Time to Burn,
it´s a song that shows the darkest facet of TR,
it´s about being in a band and trying to disappear when fans and fame hound you.
Then you want to burn and disappear. I think this is very interesting.

- LOKA: Who is the most strange guy in the band?
- AKI: All we are normal guys. But maybe Eero,
because he has to meditate everyday for 20 minutes,
it doesn´t matter if we are in a tour, at home,
or on sunday... It´s his way for being relax in this kind of life.

- LOKA: Do you know any spanish band?
- AKI: Yes, this summer we´ve been in a music festival,
and we´ve heard Dover, and we think they are mind blowing.
We didn´t know they were spanidh, a friendo told us.
We became duzzled with his gigs and with their personality.

- LOKA: Thank you very much. We are waiting for you in Spain.
- AKI: Now we´re gonna take holidyas,
then we´ll start recording a new CD,
but we hope we will go to Spain soon. Best wishes to all tha Loka readers.
